RLG is a classically trained chef who received her professional qualifications from intensive cuisine and haute cuisine training in London, UK and Paris, France.
She is also the owner of Red Letter Getaways Culinary Travel & Events and author of Eat. Cook. Travel. Write. Confessions of a Cookin', Travelin' Gastronome (published 2016).

Message from RLG
I take great pride in what I cook. I am equally enthusiastic about launching Les Sauces Posh, a company that truly reflects my years of diverse taste in food, culture and travel.
Despite the fact that I’ve been cooking most of my life, I’ve never been satisfied to be labelled as merely a “passionate home cook”. In my heart, I always knew I had to pursue my love of food and cooking the “proper way” — become professional at it.
Following completion of my cuisine training and internship at the prestigious Ritz Paris, I have held various cooking and catering positions with several hospitality and entertainment groups, private and corporate catering event companies, including the convention centre, all located in downtown Toronto.
I’ve always surrounded myself with culinary delights, whether running my culinary travel business, hosting and attending culinary events, raising funds for a non-profit food charity, writing about my restaurant visits, sharing pictures and articles on social media, and embarking on countless food-travelling experiences.
Cooking is about kitchen discipline, organization, creativity, motivation, passion, common sense, and a love of sharing. Throughout my training, I’ve developed a high level of importance in the fundamentals of kitchen disciplines; and equally importantly, techniques, preparations, and cooking skills.
